Bíldudalur/Silence
What if you could explore a landscape using only your ears?
I made ambient field recordings in locations throughout the nearly-empty village of Bíldudalur and its surrounding mossy hills and plains, and then placed them on a digital map. Viewers manipulate their location on the map, hearing whatever sound mix corresponds to that location.
