The paddles don’t light up when I sing

SingSmash needs access to the microphone. Go to Settings › Apps › SingSmash and make sure Microphone is turned on. Then sing, hum or whistle a steady note near the device. Short or very breathy notes are harder to pick up.

It’s picking up the game’s music instead of me

Use headphones, so the game’s own music doesn’t get in the way of your singing. Wired headphones work best: Bluetooth adds a little delay.

I can’t hear anything

Check that your device isn’t on silent and that the volume is up. If you’re using Bluetooth headphones, make sure they’re connected.

My notes don’t match the paddles

Each paddle belongs to a note. The tutorial plays each note for you first, so you can hear it before you sing it back. You don’t need to sing in a particular octave: sing wherever is comfortable.

I bought SingSmash before it was free. Do I have to pay again?

No. If you first downloaded SingSmash when it was a paid app, the full game is already yours. Just make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used back then.

I got a new device, or my purchase is missing

Open the level picker and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. You won’t be charged again.

Can my family play too?

Yes. Everyone can have their own profile, each with their own high scores.
